ConMac Nepal 2018

The construction industry in Nepal is seeing unrivalled growth and a blossom of business opportunities, and ConMac 2018 Nepal will be the key platform which will provide the strongest foundation to build business in the country and we are glad that the Infrastructure and the construction landscape in the Region is going through significant transformation heralding a new paradigm for development of Nepal, While the Government of Nepal is emphasizing on accelerated development of Infrastructure in the Region, it is imperative to expose the Region to latest machinery / Technology for Construction sector.

In 2017, The Nepal government had budgeted to take measures to stimulate and benefit the CE Industry and will focus on increasing Government infrastructure projects and also act as an aid to further the development of contractor base in the Region with newer opportunities to the youth. The event will be a good opportunity for the Government of Nepal to showcase the opportunities available in the Country for companies in the Construction Equipment / Component Space to explore options for setting-up Branch Office, Distributor and Dealer base in Nepal to cater to the increasing demand for Construction Equipment and Spares.

CII the organisers of Excon in India is organising Nepal edition of ConMac which is scheduled to be held between 22 - 24 November 2018 at Bhaktapur Ground (Araniko Highway), Kathmandu, Nepal. The dates of the event has been finalized after a clear consensus from large stake holders amongst CE manufacturers and large dealers in Nepal. ConMac 2018 - An Excon Show, will be the largest focused platform for the Construction Equipment Industry to showcase their technology and equipment’s for the accelerated growth of Infrastructure in Nepal.

Event Update

The delegation from Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) was in Kathmandu, Nepal on 26, 27 and 28th September 2018, headed by Mr Arvind K Garg, Chairman, ConMac Nepal 2018 and President , ICEMA and the delegation met the following Ministers, Secretaries and Organisations for their support in ConMac Nepal 2018.

In addition to the above a steering committee meeting for the event was organized on 27 September 2018 at Soalte , Kathmandu which was attended by more than 20 CEOs of construction equipment dealers based in Nepal including the Vice President of FCAN. Task forces have been formed within the steering committee members in Nepal to reach out specifically to the right audience which will be in addition to our efforts in ATL and BTL activities to draw contractors.

The Embassy and leading dealers have extended support to get the PM of Nepal for Inaugural.

The event is poised to be the largest and best managed ROI for the CE industry in Nepal.
