MYCRANE makes a splash in India at bauma CONEXPO

Attendees at bauma CONEXPO learnt how digitalisation is changing the construction industry for the better when MYCRANE’s senior management took part in North India's leading trade fair for the sector.Representing MYCRANE’s headquarters in Dubai was Andrei Geikalo, founder and CEO, who was joined by Saadan Shaikh of Sahil Freight Express Pvt Ltd, which operates the MYCRANE franchise in India.MYCRANE pioneered the world’s first online crane rental service, which saves customers both time and money, and allows crane rental providers to maximise their fleet utilisation. The service is already active in key global markets such as the USA, UK, the UAE, APAC countries and India. In addition to successful meetings with leading EPCs, including Larsen & Toubro, Tata Projects and KEC International Ltd, the MYCRANE delegation also met with Indian crane rental companies and manufacturers including Sany, Terex and XCMG.After calling at many of the exhibitors’ stands, the MYCRANE team enjoyed attending the bauma CONEXPO Awards event, and networking with some of the tens of thousands of visitors who came to the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, Delhi.“India is a massive, exciting market for MYCRANE and we were delighted to take part in the 2023 bauma CONEXPO,” said Andrei Geikalo. “To have such positive feedback from India’s most active EPC companies, which by the way are also operating on a global basis, is a testament to the innovation that MYCRANE brings to the cranes and construction sectors. Similarly it was great to meet with our registered crane rental companies, and we invite those not yet registered with us to join MYCRANE today.”

Global expansion

The company’s participation in bauma CONEXPO follows the launch of MYCRANE USA, where, owing to the importance and size of the market, MYCRANE elected to establish its own operations, rather than appoint a franchisee to roll out its services as it has done in other locations.Houston-based Scott Wilkes has been appointed as Director of Business Development, reporting directly to the senior management team in the United Arab Emirates. The USA launch also saw the introduction of “MYCRANE Agents” – a flexible partnership programme for well-connected independent sales professionals, located anywhere in the world, who can contribute to MYCRANE’s success.Independent professionals who have customer connections, such as those working in construction, oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, mining and other industries where cranes are being used, are invited to help to market MYCRANE’s services and products to their professional network, on mutually-beneficial terms.“We recognise that the crane industry is a people business and we welcome those who share our vision of a digital future to join us as a partner, so we can benefit from the digitalization of the industry together,” concluded Geikalo.
