Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said there is a lot of excitement about India globally, and the country stands at a turning point, set to become a $35 trillion economy in the next 24 years, an era of unprecedented growth. "We are at the cusp of our country's history that will transform India into a high-growth economy," he said at an event.

Emphasizing India's stature as a large and reliable economy, the Union Minister appreciated the global interest in investment, citing a meeting with a US investment house where it planned to double its $13 billion investment.

He further stated, "With digital connectivity, including Aadhaar and India's optic network, India has achieved a remarkable feat, formalizing the economy, especially for MSMEs. Over 100 million merchants now transact digitally through QR code transactions, thereby facilitating ease of doing business and enabling microbusinesses.”
